Microchipping and Identification

Microchipping is a permanent and safe form of electronic identification for your pet. If your pet gets lost and is found by a third party, they are able to be identified by their unique microchip number that is linked to an account with your contact details, enabling a speedy return!

Microchipping your pet is now compulsory for all cats and dogs over 12 weeks of age in South Australia. Microchip details can be updated online, but if you have any trouble, please do not hesitate to contact us for help.

While microchipping is the bees-knees of identification it is still a good idea to get your pet an identification tag with your details and phone number engraved. This should go on a collar so if your pet is ever lost you can be contacted as soon as possible.

If you have any further questions or would like to book your cat or dog in for a microchip implantation, please do not hesitate to contact us or book online.
